1. Who This Applies To

- Business operators who register and manage a LINIA account (Standard or Premium plan subscribers, or free Basic users).
- End customers who scan a QR code and join a queue through LINIA.
2. Personal Data We Collect
From Business Operators
- Name, email address, and contact details provided during registration
- Billing and payment information (processed securely via our payment provider)
- Business name, shop details, and branding preferences
- Usage data and platform analytics
From End Customers (Queue Users)
- Browser-based push notification token (to send queue alerts)
- Queue activity data (join time, call time, wait duration)
- Device type and browser information
- If you subscribe to Standard or Premium: customer visit history may be stored in your shop's customer database
We do not require customers to create an account or provide their name or email to join a queue.
3. How We Use Your Personal Data
We use collected data to:
- Operate and deliver the LINIA Service
- Send web push notifications to customers when it's their turn
- Provide staff dashboards, analytics, and reporting to business operators
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Improve platform performance and features
- Respond to support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Under the PDPA 2010, we process personal data on the following grounds:
- Consent, customers consent to push notifications when prompted by their browser
- Contractual necessity, to deliver the Service to registered business operators
- Legitimate interests, platform analytics and security monitoring
- Legal obligation, where required by Malaysian law
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your data with:
- Payment processors (e.g. Stripe or equivalent) solely to handle billing
- Cloud infrastructure providers hosting our platform (data may be stored outside Malaysia; we ensure adequate safeguards are in place)

We do not share customer queue data with any third party for marketing purposes.
